Make sure you buy/rent a map, and talk to the people at the desk/trail head to let them know what trail(s) you are taking (we forgot to do that on one of our visits, hiked for a couple of hours, then wanted to turn onto another trail - only to find out that trail was closed for hunting season!).By Cathryn Griffiths, August 24, 2016
